MOTIVATION TO MOVE

I just wanted to take a few moments to say a huge Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such an awesome program.  At the beginning prior to starting, I was having a hard time moving. Due to my depression/anxiety. As I began to put into place the tools that you provided on a weekly basis, I began to be able to hold myself accountable. Giving me motivation to begin to want to move, that my health was important.  

 

By preparing my log ahead of time and documenting movement whether it was 5 min here/there that amount of time was huge. I began to loose a few pounds, which is important however, its the movement that was more important, gradually beginning to add more time. I began to feel better health-wise and mentally. Few weeks in, I began to slow down in weight, due to a few interruptions, as I began to get back on track, those pounds began to come back off. Am I where I want to be? No. However, the tools are available and I am implementing them back into my dailies. So going forward I will be going back through my literature that was provided, As it provides me repetitive information. I have to reread to refresh my thinking process.  

 

I would recommend this program to all, Very valuable with getting back to eating what is needed for you to live. Not the junk foods that are being advertised on a very frequent basis. Preparation is key to success. Sweet hard candies/salts have always been my weakness, However, once you start logging/prepping and moving. your taste, habits begin to change, Being accountable for my actions.

Coach Maurice, thank you for your encouragement and your prayers.  I appreciate all you do for us and all the time and energy you put into researching all the extra information. I have had a lot of hurdles since our journey stated with trying to move, COVID-19, then losing my job.  I could not have made it without you. Thank you so much!!!

"PRICELESS"

I began this journey because I was told I am pre-diabetic and I do not want to go there. I watched both of my parents struggle with that before they died so I wanted to take action to help myself. My main focus continues to be to live a healthy life. Although I do want to lose weight, the weight loss is just a bonus. It is very difficult for me to lose weight due to a medical condition but I consistently do, not quickly but consistently. Although I have gotten discouraged and do not do everything right all the time, I am consistent and I've learned from you that is very important. Today, I walk at least 2 miles a day or bike ride, which I never thought I would be able to do. In fact, I do not feel well when I don't get this exercise or eat right. The things you have taught us are priceless and I'm saddened that the class is coming to a close. I do believe that everyone (especially those that struggle with their health) needs the information and accountability you provide.

 

I believe this program was an answer to my prayers and I am so thankful God let me to you & this program.  It has been a joy to learn from you.  God bless your ministry abundantly!  I will continue to pray for you.

 

If I can ever do anything to help you please let me know.  I know there is no way I can repay you but I am happy to volunteer if you need someone to help with meetings or help with some of the busy work in the future.

Many thanks to Coach Maurice and his program for helping me understand my body. I learned that everyone is different but when you are taught why something works or doesn't work,  it opens up a healthier lifestyle for you.

I completed my yearly doctor’s visit yesterday with my new doctor. I am now off ALL cholesterol medication and my a1c is now 5.8! My weight is up but I am healthy! He wants to me drop down to 200 (just like you suggested) but said I am healthy otherwise; to keep up what I have been doing! My blood pressure and pulse were perfect as well! THANK YOU!

I wanted to take a minute before the new year begins to say "thank you".  Because of what God has called you to do, I can go into a new year, for the first time in a long time, without stressing about the need to lose a significant amount of weight.  I am at least 45 lbs. lighter and can see my goal in sight.  Thank you.
